Soccer Disciplinary Policy
Parents, Players, Coaches, Referees and other Fans attending FAST soccer events are expected to act in accordance with the Code of Conduct. Should behavior be observed that is inconsistent with the Code of Conduct (i.e. coach, player or fan behaving in a way that results in that person being removed from a game, practice, or other FAST event by the Referee, Field Marshall, or other FAST Board Member) the person committing this act shall be indefinitely suspended from all FAST activities until after a Conduct Review has been completed with the Disciplinary Committee.
The Disciplinary Committee shall consist of at least four (4) of the following individuals: President, Vice President, Registrar, Secretary, Treasurer, or the Referee Assignor.
During the Review, an appropriate level of discipline shall be decided by the Disciplinary Committee.
Disciplinary Levels include but are not limited to:
1) Conduct Review with the Disciplinary Committee and no further suspension.
2) Conduct Review with the Disciplinary Committee and 1 Game suspension.
3) Conduct Review with the Disciplinary Committee and 3 Game suspension.
4) Conduct Review with the Disciplinary Committee and 1-year suspension.
5) Conduct Review with the Disciplinary Committee and lifetime suspension from all FAST activities.
Suspensions may be extended to any and or all FAST activities including practices, meetings, games, picnics, etc.
It is the individual’s responsibility to get in contact with one of the members of the Disciplinary Committee to schedule the Conduct Review. The referee, Field Marshall, or FAST Board member that witnessed the event and removed the offending party shall notify the President of FAST within 6 hours and shall submit an incident report within 24 hours of the incident.
All levels of discipline shall be followed by 1-year probation. If the individual has another incident during the disciplinary or probationary period, discipline at a higher level will result.
All corresponding incident reports, Conduct Review notes and supporting documentation shall be retained for a period of 1 year after the probationary period has been completed.
All decisions shall be deemed final and no appeals shall be heard.
Lack of knowledge of this policy shall not absolve any individual of responsibility to adhering to code of conduct.
